FAQs

who is this course for?

This course is ideal for B1+, B2, and B2+ learners who want to improve their real-world English communication.

Employees at B1–B2 level

  • Students wanting to level up to IELTS or Cambridge FCE/CAE

  • Workers who need to sound natural in meetings or day-to-day work

  • Staff who want to improve their understanding of English native speakers

How does the course work?

You watch one short video lesson per day (4–8 minutes). Each video focuses on a useful phrasal verb, with clear explanations, real-life examples, subtitles, and a short quiz to help you remember and use what you’ve learned. We recommend you watch the videos in the order they appear but you can also watch them in random order if you prefer as each verb video is stand-alone.

What will I learn?

You’ll learn over 100 phrasal verbs and everyday expressions used by native speakers. These lessons help you:

  • Understand natural spoken English

  • Speak more fluently and confidently

  • Use idiomatic English in real situations

Do I need to study at a specific time?

No! The course is 100% self-paced. You can study anytime, anywhere, from your phone or computer — whether you're commuting, cooking, or relaxing.

How much time do I need?

Just 9 minutes a day is enough. Watch one video, take the quiz, and reflect on the verb throughout your day. Over time, this builds deep understanding and lasting fluency. By studying one video per day, the course will take four months to complete.

Who teaches the course?

The course is taught by a native English trainer with 25+ years of experience. You’ll learn from a teacher who specialises in helping students understand and use natural, idiomatic English.

Will I get feedback or corrections?

Every lesson includes a quiz to test your understanding. While the course is self-paced, the structure helps you track your own progress and revisit topics when needed. If you have any questions you can contact the teacher directly at john@listentoadvance.com
